    Zuccardi Zeta 2012

On the nose, delicate dark fruits like blueberries, cassis and blackberries. There are also subtle notes of anise and flowers. In the background, there are aromas of cloves, tobacco and spices.

The palate is firm with mature tannins and the acidity brings a vivacious and fresh finish. An elegant and complex wine.

    About the Winery

Bodega Zuccardi is one of Argentina’s oldest, family-owned wineries, in business since Jose’s father, Don Alberto Zuccardi, a civil engineer by trade, planted vines in 1963 and pioneered an irrigation system dedicated to vineyards. Their vineyards are in the dry Mendoza region, an area which receives less than ten inches of rain annually. In his book “Wine Report 2004” by writer Tom Stevenson and a team of regional wine specialists, South American wine expert Michael Fielden ranked Familia Zuccardi in his Top Ten list of Greatest Wine Producers in Chile and Argentina.
