About the Winery

The Col di Lamo vineyards extend eighty hectares across Montalcino. The owner, Giovanna Neri, is a Law graduate who inherited from her father a great passion for wine. Today, she is an established and respected producer. She leads a tight team of 4: an agronomist, an estate worker and her daughter, Diletta, who recently joined the business to manage their marketing and communications.

Giovanna nurtures her business, the vineyard and team with a great Italian motherly love. Her wines have thus become part of her family. 6 hectacres of the vineyard produce Brunello di Montalcino, 3 hectares produce Rosso di Montalcino and 2 hectares produce their “Super-Tuscan”, Lamo. All of the Col di Lamo wines are farmed organically and certified as such. The winery only uses natural yeasts and do not add any additional tannins. The best vintages for her Brunello were: 2004, 2010, 2015, 2016.
