Bouchard Finlayson Crocodile’s Lair Chardonnay
The dry land nature of this vineyard offers a distinctive mineral quality, which allows greater maturation potential. Beautifully fresh and crisp with obvious gooseberry flavours surrounded by subtle oak nuances.
The wine has a pale lemon-yellow colour and a bouquet reminiscent of green figs with hints of gooseberries and an intrusion of green peppers. The wine is dry, full-bodied and has a long lingering finish.
Catherine Marshall Sauvignon
The nose has a racy crispness and the palate is crunchy, packed with gooseberries and a hint of white peach. The finish, like the nose, has a strong lime and gooseberry freshness.
Chemin des Pelerins Blanc
Lively and extremely fresh, this is a rich, well-balanced wine with seductive aromas of grapefruit, peach, pear and apricot. A crisp finish.
de Sophie Côtes de Provence Rosé
A beautiful raspberry-pink colour. Elegant, fresh & delicate with flavours of peach, apricot & hints of white blossom.
Ernie Els Big Easy White
Dominated by citrus in its youth, the nose offers complexity with peaches, strawberries and fresh cream. A sprinkle of spice and a slight peppery edge contrasts the soft, creamy mouth-feel, while nutty and mineral notes gather further complexity. Medium-bodied and stylish, the palate ends with a long and dry, discreetly fruity finish.
Freedom Cross Chardonnay
A lightly oaked Chardonnay displaying flavours of lychee and melon offset by hints of butterscotch making this a full, satisfying white.
Freedom Cross Chenin
A brilliant value wine from Chenin, the Cape’s favourite white grape. Full, ripe apple fruit mingles with tropical flavours leading to a clean, dry finish.
Freedom Cross Sauvignon
This wine offers alluring flavours and aromas of tropical fruit with apricot and fig. There are notes of grassiness on the fresh, zesty palate and the length of finish is good.
