About the Winery

Jean-François Gonon took over from his father in 1991 and Wineservice have been buying their wines since 2001. There are 14ha of vines; 8ha of Mâcon and 6 of Pouilly-Fuissé. This Domaine produces fresh Mâcon with an attractive aroma and flavour of baked apples that never fails to hit the spot. Located in the Vergisson commune, in the southern end of the Mâconnais, the vines are at the foot of the famous limestone escarpment, Roche de Solutré. The climate is cool and the vine yields are restricted to help the grapes ripen fully.
