Émile Leclère is located in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, in Mardeuil, 2 km from Epernay; the self-proclaimed capitale du Champagne and home to many of the world’s most celebrated Champagne houses. Since 1832, this family holding has been growing and producing Champagne across 5 generations.
Vincent and Marie, the fifth generation of winemakers, hold 12 hectares of vineyards, composed of 70% Pinot Meunier, 24% Chardonnay and 6% Pinot Noir. The family maintains control and consistency of their various cuvées by harvesting and bottling theirs wines on the premises. The bottles then lay in their chalk cellars for 2 to 5 years before release.
Alongside Champagne Fluteau, Wineservice are exclusively offering Emile Leclere as one of our new House Champagnes and we are proud to be their sole UK importer.
The Brut Reserve is now available to order: soft and creamy with an edge of acidity, baked-apple flavour and zingy texture.
