Nick is the Managing Director of Wineservice. He follows in his late Father’s footsteps by bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience earned from an honourable 31 years in the trade. Nick has travelled many miles across the world’s vineyards to develop a thorough understanding of the wines we source and the customers we serve.
Nick is father to two sons, Charles and Elliot Hillman, both of whom have enjoyed harvest time at wineries in Argentina and France.
Director & Company Secretary
Colleen is the wife of Nick Hillman and provides consultation on strategy and purchasing. Having operated her own business in the TV production sector, she transferred her successes to the wine industry and has offered support and advice for over 30 years.
Colleen is particularly fond of Chablis and Chassagne Montrachet and has frequented the vineyards of Burgundy on many occasions!
Bob is another long-standing member of the team having held the fort at Wineservice HQ for more than 20 years. He is the central point of contact for customers and suppliers ensuring that relationships are maintained and managed with care and attention.
Bob liaises with suppliers to ensure our cellars are fully-stocked so that we can always meet our customers’ needs and requirements. He is available to offer wine consultation and advice on new listings.
Business Development Manager
Aimee is Nick’s daughter-in-law and joined the company in September 2013. After graduating from the University of Manchester, Aimee spent 5 years in the professional services sector where she trained in business process outsourcing. She was then keen to support the family business and share Nick’s enthusiasm for the wine trade. After implementing ways to streamline the business, she later went on to support Nick in maintaining our existing customer base and securing new contracts. Aimee is also keen to introduce our wines to the private sector and develop our online presence.
Buying & Sales Executive
Michael is well-versed in customer care and relationship management having worked at Waitrose for 6 years in a management position. He joined Wineservice in April 2014 and has successfully completed his WSET wine exams and continues to expand his knowledge of the wine trade. Michael escorts customers on wine excursions to France and develops trusting relationships with clients as he takes their daily orders.
Michael works with Bob to ensure our cellars are fully-stocked and organised ready to fulfil orders. He also works with customers to develop and design wine lists tailored to each of their needs.
Logistics & Deliveries
Graham has been a valued team-member for 12 years. He delivers our wine safely and expediently to customers across London and the South-East. Over the years, he has built strong relationships with Restaurant and Stores Managers ensuring that their requirements are always met.
Graham manages the cellars to allow for an organised environment from which wines can be easily picked ready for delivery.
